Ibla Grand Prize
This is an international music competition that has helped make Ragusa Ibla famous throughout the world.
It is open to composers of all nationalities and ages and has been held every year since 1992 over a period of
about 10 days in June and July.
During the festival, it is possible to attend numerous concerts open to the public in the Falcone Borsellino
Auditorium or in the specially erected marquee in Ibla's Piazza Pola.
Lyric singers and composers put on shows that attract both the local public and an increasing number of tourists,
drawn by the prestige that surrounds the festival.
