Activation of the Marina di Ragusa Limited Traffic Zone
"As already communicated in several meetings and reiterated during this week's City Council meeting," said Local Police Councilor Giovanni Gurrieri, "the seasonal limited traffic zone will be active in Marina di Ragusa starting Saturday.
The traffic restriction, valid only for unauthorized vehicles, will be in effect only on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM in Zone B "Tindari-Centro" and from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM in Zone C "Malta." The restricted traffic zone will be active every evening only during the week of Ferragosto.
In any case, at the various entrances, the writing “ZTL Closed” in red will indicate that access is prohibited to unauthorized persons.
Please note that access, with a valid pass, is permitted to:
• Residents and/or their relatives
• Residents and/or their relatives
• Property owners and members of their family unit
• Owners, managers or employees of economic activities
• Who must carry out their professional activity
• Couriers and deliveries
• Guests of accommodation businesses
• People with reduced mobility
• Electric cars and vehicles
• Motorcycles (in the B and C restricted traffic zones even without a pass)
Anyone who has been in possession of a valid pass since last summer doesn't need to do anything. To request a new pass, whether temporary or permanent, simply go to www.ragusapass.it and follow the instructions in the tutorial. Pending review of the submitted documentation, the application will already be valid as a pass.
